ok so it took me THREE hours to get to the Satriani show..i ended up only hearing Thin Lizzy and by the time i was in....they were off the stage

anyhow..very cool venue!!

on my way there i saw a lot of young kids...a lot of hippie looking kids

some even had signs in their car "we need tickets" W T F ?

i was thinking they were going to my show...because i didn't know what other show was around

WELL, it turns out these fuckers were going to VT..and i had traffic the entire ride through 3 fuckin hours

ARGH

i had eaten 3 bites of left over pizza and a rockstar drink so i had some energy at least..but my head was pounding sooo flippin hard

the ride back i thought i was in a steven king novel (not maine, i know..but still)

then i stop a BK and they have no more veggie burgers....they said they were no longer being sold...blah

at least the one near my work still has them

i don't know what's worse, Phish or their fans. i'm glad the rain turned it into a mudpit.

my dying bride and i were walking on mainstreet of hyannis today and i noticed all the hippy shops were closed with a sign saying "going to phish concert!" i just don't understand what makes their music so great

Phish has some nasty instrumentation

i always hated phish because of their fans. then i finally heard their music and thought some of it was cool. not cool enough to go out and buy, but i gained respect for it. half their fans probably have no idea what's going on though. it's the same with dave matthews band. i'm not into the music,, but i have respect for the band and no respect for the fans who go to see them because it's the trendy thing to do.

phish has one awesome cd done with (I believe) the guys from tsunami who's name is the same as a famous tenis star. they released it on the phish record label and sounded NOTHING like phish.

and yet you still hate them..

but i guess i should be blaming the fans!

i went to school with a kid who thought the greatest guitarist ever was the guy from phish (whover he is)

yeah, this one kid showed me a phish video and was like check out this guitar part... I just laughed because the guy did nothing.

any finger movement in a hippie band impress's high, stupid ,hippies. they think it sounds 'neat'.

hippiesssss.....hippies everywhere.... think theyre saving the world but all they do is smoke pot and smell bad.

i went to phish about 4 years ago. and i must say i had a blast! there were tons of stupid hippys but after 10 beers i fit right in! i even started a fight with some e'ed out hippy kid. it was a funny story really. my friends were like laughting cause i showed up with an autographed mrecyfull fats shirt and starting fights...though after all is said trey is an awesome guitarist, he does sweeps like crazy!!
