my radio show.
on a monday night.
durham, nh

deal:
you come in at 10pm
set up and sound check until midnight-ish
go on live over the airwaves for 5-45 minutes
then while you are breaking down/interviewing on air, the sound guy cuts the recording up on a CD
pics and mp3s go up on my site before I hit my bed

problem:
my appartment sucks so until I get a bigger one (which doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon), I have no place for bands to crash for the night.

i see a show right here my band(B.O.E.) needs a show TERMINALLY YOUR ABORTED GHOST, RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE & BODYS IN THE GEARS OF APPARATUS all need shows now if i could find a place to hold it we could make this thing happen.

anyone know a good all ages club or cheap hall i hear the framingham one is a tad bit pricey

toggletoggle post by ratt_mowe at Mar 6,2003 1:08pm
hey that sounds like a good idea to me. Terminally would be more than willing to play a show such as that... we're willing to play ANY shows! if anything comes up, you can contact us at tyagxgrind@hotmail.com or xmoocowx@hotmail.com. hopefully something gets pulled together cause there has been a lack of good shows as of late.

toggletoggle post by josh at Mar 6,2003 6:28pm
Black Book Diaries will play with you guys too

toggletoggle post by babysbreath   at Mar 8,2003 5:32pm

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 9,2003 12:58am

I think you all should play my radio show too...

toggletoggle post by TheGreatSpaldino   at Mar 9,2003 2:56am
dysentery will play your radio show if you get us a box of cinnamon toast crunch... thats the official food of the church of satan. it says so on the box...

toggletoggle post by tyagxgrind   at Mar 9,2003 11:11am
I say that someone calls the guy from Trance Buddah and sees if we all can get a date for the show! B.O.E. + TYAG + Bodies... + Dysentery = Damn sick Grind/Death show! Devon(TYAG)

toggletoggle post by ratt_mowe at Mar 9,2003 12:55pm
yes ido go to AI

toggletoggle post by josh at Mar 9,2003 1:28pm
5 feet basement = bad for 6'5 person :o. Anyways, if anyone wants to throw a show together we'll def play.

toggletoggle post by xPaulBLAHBLAHx   at Mar 9,2003 1:33pm
Hey is there any way Shading the end can get on that show we are a death/grind band similar to devourment, ill have mp3s from our demo soon, we just really want to play with some more death/grind acts, consider like BOE, Dysentry and TYAG are like the resurfacing of death metal around here lol, i just want to get out and play with some guys who play simliar sick shit that we do, let me know whats up my email and SN is "Lymphaticdeath@aol.com"

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 9,2003 1:54pm
a lot of the local bands impress me.
for being 110% broootal devourment-esque, dysentery, BOE, Shading the End, and TYAG should get prizes. If I were working at a bigger venue, these three bands would be on the top of the list of openers.

My one negative comment is I wish to some day see STE finish a set. The one and only time I saw them, the bass player did a lot less playing and a lot more throwing his bass on the floor.

Dysentery is awesome musically, but they need to play more shows so they get more comfortable (though I think I saw their first actual show). Then they can move around a lot more.

110% grind-core: shallows and flats, umbrella, failsafe device, the daughters, idn, and (our adopted band) Bodies in the gears of the apparatus. I can't wait for the April 10th show. The best thing about these bands is they blast you non-stop for 10 minutes. This is awesome for those of us with short attention spands.

PS: umbrella, you guys are playing March 24th on my show, ok? If you can't make it, tell me asap.

toggletoggle post by josh at Mar 9,2003 3:59pm
Rev, add Black Book Diaries to the grind list.

toggletoggle post by ratt_mowe at Mar 9,2003 4:03pm
well TYAG is more than ready to play some more shows soon. if you liked our demo, you should hear the new stuff we have been writing. it will all be on our upcoming LP... expect it to come out in the summer. let me just say it blows the demo out of the water. for real. for really real.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 9,2003 4:17pm
josh: I've only heard one black book track before so I'm not sure. Maybe a demo for my radio show would shake my memory...

ratt: good. I saw you guys playing new stuff the last time I saw you. It was awesome. A lot more structured, a lot more brutal grind towards DM. I can't wait for WUNH to get a copy of the lp. I'm sure I'll play it.

sounds like we need some sort of group to orgonize shows... New England Making Shows Group For Making Shows In New England [NEMSGFMSINE] maybe find 2 or 3 halls between providence ri, york me, and springfield ma. have 1-2 shows per month. Plan shows with 1 or 2 headliner(s) (and not just the red chord each time. they are awesome and draw a crowd, but they are always the answer when someone has a show that they need to have a headliner or draw a crowd. DIVERSIFY!!!). Then you can have 3-5 other bands open up. bang, you get diversity, shows, and $$ generated to pay bands and for the orgonization to roll it into other shows. You can diversify the bands too.. I mean grindbands with hardcore with death grind or have shows with all a similar type of bands.
but what the hell do I know, I just go to shows. I don't make them.

nice. this sounds like it would be a sick fucking show. my favorite type of shit is devourment/dripping/sect of execration type stuff. I love terminally your aborted ghost and dysentery. from the description it sounds like I\'d love Shading the End too. More ultra brutal deathmetal/grind shit in MA is always a good thing. viva la breakdowns.

Bane of Existence

toggletoggle post by jesus at Mar 9,2003 5:32pm
viva la breakdown! haha, thats definatly the title of the next dysentery release \m/

toggletoggle post by TheGreatSpaldino   at Mar 9,2003 6:06pm
our first actual show that we played was a fairly decent performance... we had people killing eachother in the pit and i even put my bass down and went in the pit and scared everyone out of it. lol.... it was pretty fun

toggletoggle post by baneofexistence at Mar 9,2003 9:33pm
well if i can find a place to have it i will set it up but i just don't have money lying around to rent halls
my idea is that if each band contributes a precentage of the renting of the hall and p.a. it would make em try harder to get folks there in order to make their depost back

does anyone know any halls that could hold such a show and preferably don't require a cop

dismalbio@yahoo.com

toggletoggle post by jesus  at Mar 31,2003 1:16am
bump.... i thought we had something going with this thread. someone make this fucking show

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Apr 27,2003 10:30am
i could probably book the show, sorry I was a little late coming to this thread.

whats the line up you want?
TYAG, dysentery, shading the end and bane of existence?

i will go work my magic now

toggletoggle post by tyagxgrind   at Apr 27,2003 3:24pm
Hehe sick bro thats what I'm talking about! Thanks. Were also trying to get Dysentery, Shading The End, BOE on all of our shows, their all good bands, good friends and its only natural to want to make the DM scene come back around here, even if its just a little bit more. B.O.E should get the most credit from all the DM bands around here, they have stuck it out! Not leaving were they were and continue on where they are going. toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Apr 28,2003 12:26pm
thanks for the kind words man this state definately has a handful of sick death metal bands. we all just need some shows to play together I guess. I can't wait to play with you guys, dysentery, and shading the end. that's gonna be fucking brutal as hell.
