Why the fuck has no one talked about this show yet? I didn't know if I would like it or not, so I watched the first episode and have been hooked since, dark, depressing, cool. Even had Angel of Death by Slayer in one of the opening scenes))))))))))DISCUSS IF YOU MUST(((((((((((
So that scene is basically this former mom who lost her family to the rapture, and she has been fucked in the head since then. Cool to see her get off in a fucked up way to a Slayer song (subjective yes I know).
The series is based on a book. I haven't read it. Just started watching the show a couple weeks ago. Such a great show. The character development is excellent and the soundtrack was very well put together.
So far every episode has been killing it, not really answering anything, but asking more questions has kept my attention, certain moments have that David Lynch feel to it. The OST soundtrack has been good as well, that piano is badass.
The second to last episode, I pretty much figured out what happened on October 14 and what the guilty remnant actually is. I won't spoil it for you but each episode just gets better, dude.
Fucking figures you cheap medium well bastard, would rewatch on Netflix, and yes I have the stream and dvds but still don't watch as much as I should, I am jaded with movies, happens when you get older.

Good don't ruin it for me, I enjoyed how they showed what happened before the rapture, I think the episode is called The Best of the Garvey's? It shows you the happiness and as the show progresses you start seeing the cracks in each character leading up to this event which helps explain a lot.

Damn right I'm cheap. See my other thread about dumping DirecTV.

Yeah I saw that thread, I don't have the balls to dump my Comcast yet, the final season of Boardwalk Empire is starting soon. Usually when I get one of my DVDs in from Netflix, that movie magically appears on cable %@#@^$, it's a vicious circle.
