This is what the label thats putting our tape is saying about it..
First up is the debut release from Boston's most hated; ISLAM85! Throw some fed-the-fuck-up Noothgrush inspired Powerviolence into a blender with spastic-barking-lazy-pothead-vocals, let it dry in a glass baking pan, cut it with some harsh as fuck grindsilence, mix in a little misanthropic-stoner-doom smoke and enjoy! Offended? GOOD!
Islam85: I was expecting their set to be comically short, it really wasn't. Infest-like with slow sludgey parts. At some points one of the vocalist kind of reminded me of Mike Mccarthy. I think that was during the last song. Lots of people dancing for their set.
Wide eyes was pretty Damn good too. I took me half the first song to convince myself the first song wasn't a black flag cover. Then their last song was a minor threat song. Good stuff. People in this band do all look familiar.
Disaster strikes, it had been waaaaaaaay too long. They were still great. The vocals are more and more like jello. Not a bad thing. Remembering that the bassist is in enemy within makes me what to see enemy within more.
