Per our inebriated discussion, I put together a Double Bastard clone recipe. It's based on what little info about it I was able to find sine the Stone site has it listed as classified. It's coming out at 11.3% alcohol and 106 IBU (that's a hell of a lot of both), I had to use some extract because my mash tun isn't big enough for that much grain.
Ingredients:
------------
3.00 lb Light Dry Extract (8.0 SRM)
12.50 lb Pale Malt (2 Row) UK (3.0 SRM)
1.75 lb Special B Malt (180.0 SRM)
0.50 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt -120L (120.0 SRM)
2.00 oz Chinook [13.00 %] (90 min) (First Wort Hops)
1.00 oz Chinook [13.00 %] (30 min)
0.50 oz Chinook [13.00 %] (10 min)
0.50 oz Chinook [13.00 %] (0 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep Hops)
2 Pkgs Dry English Ale (White Labs #WLP007)
Tony probably won't be able to read this for a few days, or at least a week. I think he's going to the Bahamas. Something about how he discovered Atlantis
