download a better OS such as 2000, or XP pro, and get a cd key for it online.

piracy rules

(go with XP pro)

or if your computer is slow, go with 2000 pro.

usually, any of the file sharing programs out there... soulseek, ect.... we could get you a cd-key no problem.

toggletoggle post by bludgawd  at May 28,2004 4:25pm
cool deal... I will try soulseek tonight.... I like the ways windows 98 is set up and am not into XP at all so I guess 2000 is the closest thing. I use it here at work and like it.... so if I get 2000 someone could hook me up with a key??

toggletoggle post by TheGreatSpaldino   at May 28,2004 4:26pm
yeah man... there are a bunch of places to get keys from

toggletoggle post by bludgawd  at May 28,2004 4:26pm
cool thanks

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at May 28,2004 4:26pm
yeah, you're probably gonna find a BIN file in soulseek, or an ISO... you'll need a burning program that lets you burn IMAGE's to a cd. Don't forget to download the .CUE file that goes along with the BIN, or ISO.

I have a xp pro sp1 cd.
what speed is your computer to have win98se on it?

you need ATLEAST 256MB ram for XP with a 400MHz processor.
I suggest going with 512MB at least.

also, XP pro runs much better and faster than 2000 pro as long as you have the RAM for it. plus a lot more things are compatible with it.
