I am very pleased to announce that my keyboard/ambient project is now being hosted on Hi.Arc.Tow. The older demo can be downloaded for free there. They've taken the time to upload it and host it.
In the meantime, I've been working on newer material for the next release which should be done very shortly. Here is a track which will be on it (already made a thread about it, but oh well..):
For those of you who dig this kind of stuff, hope you enjoy.. thanks
Khand is a one-man cosmic ambient project, started in 1998 with the aim of experimenting with ambient, keyboard and neoclassical aesthetics. Influenced by medieval, space and fantasy themes, Interstellar Dominions, Khand’s debut demo, was written between 2003 and 2005. Expect new material soon, including a projected full-length album.

I'm having difficulty with bandcamp. I've tried uploading both wavs and AIC files with the specs they require. It says they process but then fails. Anyone else have this band camp issue? Site is way better designed for music than myspace and Facebook.

I've had zero difficulties with Bandcamp. Send me a file later on and let me try uploading it.

What/who is hi.arc.tow?
"Vision
These are tough times for visionary, emerging art. Finding a voice loud enough and clear enough to penetrate above the now overwhelming clamour of other (mostly uninspired) artists is more difficult than ever. Its hard to see the motivation or incentives to try – afterall, even if one does choose to create something, sticking to a proven saleable paradigm is much easier and more enticing than venturing out into the wilderness of ideas and finding a meaningful way of ones own. Most of us know though that we would rather have one outstanding, visionary work of art than the mass of derivative work that we’ve grown indifferent to, but the the environment we’ve created is not conducive to this.
At HI.ARC.TOW we believe that with enough dedication and concentration we can transcend this situation – by focusing exclusively on art that is distinctive & meaningful and by showcasing new, engaging art from emerging artists who hope to overcome the stagnation of the present status quo.
Our goals are: to promote a thoughtful and purposeful approach to creativity, assist people in the development of the necessary skills to create good art and promote transcendentally good art – which includes hosting work on this website from artists we like and who want to offer a sample of their work for free, public dissemination."

How would I go about getting my solo album on here?

Is this the Khand that comes with the goat-blood-soaked cover?

PS, this is awesome Jim. I'm glad you've been pursuing this project further.
jesse, I'm not quite sure how selective they are. I know Conservationist hooked me up with hi.arc.tow. It wouldn't hurt to email the guy and see if he likes the stuff. Most of the stuff seems neoclassical and/or black metal orientated but it wouldn't hurt to shoot them an email I guess.
new song with some distorted guitars in it. nearing completion of new demo. just going to finish one or two more songs. have about 25 minutes so far. cool story bro.
