Yes, I totally agree with avoiding 84 in Hartford during rush hour(s). I got delayed at a vendor in Wobuhn who fucked up some samples and had to remake them while I waited with dick in hand. Made it to Southbury to piss at Crackdonalds, thank fuck.

I've tried other routes, but let's face it, there's no great way to get from NH to NJ.

Ct has wonderful free highways and terrible terrible traffic. My fav is when you sit for 1.5hrs on 95 at 1am not moving a all.

I never had much of a problem with 95 unless there's construction or it's the holiday season. The thing that sucks about driving to most places in Connecticut from Rhode Island is the highways are pretty much designed to connect Boston to New York so the ways to get to places like Hartford, Waterbury, Torrington, etc. are all twisted maze routes.

Merritt Parkway is my favorite road in NE.

This is because you haven't sleazed on the Berlin Turnpike (which is technically a part of 15/Merritt)... Sketchiest 4 miles in all of the Northeast

I've sat in stop + go traffic on the Merritt as well, like I said they all suck at times.

I know from the Berlin Turnpike. My last company owned a plant in Meriden for a few years. Certainly sketchy at best.

Finally made it to beeeeautiful NJ, where the sewer meets the sea. Best part of this state will be when I leave tomorrow.

I took that shit into New York and hopped on 95 pretty much right at the George Washington Bridge when going to MDF last year... a route I will swear by forever and always.

CT is indeed abysmal. it's huge and has nothing in it.

I may as well ask too where in NJ do you end up going? I went to a show about a week and a half ago down in Kearny and was surprised at how clean the city was, there was no garbage anywhere, not even really any dirt, and all the houses and old buildings were kept up real nice. Quite a shock when you're spending five days a week in the rotting garbage infested shithole of Pawtucket.

I went w/ Leukorrhea a long time ago to Jersey for a show they were playing. What a shithole state. The show was in the middle of nowhere though. I forget the name of the town & venue.

I'm guessing Jersey has its fair share of run down shitholes but Kearny didn't seem to live up to the stereotypes.

Chatham county in NJ is the second riches county in the US. I've stayed over there and the place is awesome except for all the freakin deer everywhere
