Don't know what to expect from Iratetion. All I know is they're traveling from Jersey. Met Acrassicauda in NYC, but this will be my first time seeing them live. We'll see what happens!
Would it be in bad taste to go to this and yell Admiral Ackbar the whole time?
would it be in bad taste for me to ask how many insurgents acrassicauda had to kill to be on this show?
especially considering what those dudes had to go through to just to survive, let alone play in a band, a privilege i often take for granted (surviving, not being in a band).

Lowell isn't bad. Even in the past 5 years it's improved dramatically. There's only one abandoned mill left that I know of. Much better than a half dozen or so in 2004. Downtown Lowell is much more attractive than where I'm working right now on Main St. in Worcester.
Wow... so sleepy that my vision is beyond being able to see the pictures on the back of my camera. Sucks that I have to pick up dog medicine after this.

I see you are still driving? Well it took me less then an hour to get home, just about 40 min. Good show and good to see you Rev!!! Well all the bands were good Untombed Great, CSDO- my first time seeing them good thrash, Iratetion- good tribal Core... great beats and tempo... I even liked it.. Acrassicauda was good metal. Some cool shit going on and some Iraq singing cool. The first band I missed, but a good time. Also Rev, I think that was the place that we played at? I am still not sure, but good to see some old faces.

I got home at 3am.
Yes, that was the place. I wanted to go back out and tell you can the "load in" door was down outside around the corner. I totally remembered it once I walked outside.
csdo had something weird with the tone of the guitar. it was more higher end and made the song nitromethane sound speedmetal and not thrash metal.
Iratetion was good, sort of soulfly-ish, but there were a few times when the singer just seemed to replete the same thing over and over.
acrassicauda was quite different and quite good. I'll be interested in that new CD whenever it comes out.

yea they do that damn check point every single weekend in lowell with out fail, I usually anounce that shit after our sets at the shamcock/gemstones.
Pretty cool show... All the bands were good. It's hard to get people to go Lowell. Even the last time we played there with Marc Rizzo (from Soulfly), people were like Lowell? No thanks...
is gemstones, "club fuel"? upstairs from another bar? i'm pretty sure i saw as i lay dying there back in like '02 with a bunch of shitty high school bands.
