milo syndicate they started off sounding more like sheer terror and then played a cover of ace of spades.
lido downstairs has a brand new set up, i like it a lot more than the make-shift set up that was there. it looks more like it was designed for that room. also, the porthole mirrors are gone from the back of the stage. that is good for everyone.
ashers did 3 cover songs. also, the best song they did was the one with out the singer. it was slower and reminded me of sin of angels or unearthly trance.
refuse resist set was all you would think it would be except all the cover songs. they now have 2 full lengths so they have plenty of material of their own. plus, there were 4 mohawks. that's a higher concentration that ive seen in many a year.
seeing andrew drunk and thoroughly digging outbreak ruled. i never saw that one coming. their set was excellent, but then the power went out. it had gone out a couple times during the night, but it was gone for a lot longer during their set. i honestly think it was waving in and out all night. the guitars and bass for every single band kept disappearing.
Thanks tons for taking all these pictures. As much as I liked the club, they wouldn't let me film. They did let me do audio, though, and that came out very nice. Gotta gotta gotta go!
