i just hope it has substance and isn't a flashy video game cinematic, like 300. the first one is so good, the effects are so awesomely primitive, and it relies on story.

This movie does look great. Fucking can't wait.

I saw the trailer in the theater, and the Kraken looks fucking dominant. It does have that God of War cinematic feel to it but I'm sure it will be amazing regardless.

They blew the load by showing the kraken. They should've held that one back

I might be the only one old enough to have seen the original in a theater (and I was pretty young then). It's cool if you go into it expecting classic stop motion effects. If you try to watch it as a modern movie, it's pretty hokey, both in effects and acting style.

I saw this last night. It was about as much as I expected it to be.

All though everyone I know said it sucked and was a let down, it's clash of the titans...doesn't matter if it sucks...the original is so classic that it's almost impossible to make the movie bad.

It will be like the new conan, it will suck as a movie but I will see it because the original is amazing that it will be hard to fall toooooo far from the original.

It was hard not to laugh at a lot if parts they made overly cheesy. The girl in the movie was a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabe.

so this was awful, surprise! the Kraken was pretty cool looking, but was pretty much a rip-off cross between the cave troll from LOTR and the Hydra from God of War. the scene where he was turned to stone looked cool. Medusa wasn't too bad, but again, a lot was ripped off or "inspired" by God of War. the dialogue was painful, some of the worst acting i've seen in a long time. Ralph Fiennes was a bad choice for Hades, he wasn't nearly menacing enough, and the voice was annoying. overall, epic fail.
