i'm writing some great new forums for the electric retard community, and when they are finished i will begin drawing electric retard comics again 7 times a week. the main site has been redesigned too. it is mostly finished, but i'm not going to put it up until the forums are done too.

i'm currently hacking the forum code to pieces to implement some awesome new features.

when users join the forums, they will be given the choice of joining one of 4 groups:
- faggots
- bikers
- niggers
- the irish

each one of these groups is assigned their own forum, which will have 5 public forums and 1 private forum for that group only. members of any group can post in anybody else's 5 public forums, but they will be open to flaming and trolling. trolling within groups is not allowed and is bannable, unless done in a dedicated trolling forum.

aside from those 4 forums, there will be one common forum that doesn't belong to any group, which is mostly for boards about electric retard and comics and stuff.

each forum will have it's own design and look to suit the group that it is a part of.

the four member group forums will be:
- the gaybar (for faggots)
- the truck stop (for bikers)
- the ghetto (for niggers)
- the pub (for the irish)

there will be no avatar uploading, instead, users will be able to pick and choose pieces to assemble their own unique avatar, with literally billions of possibilities. aside from a few general pieces, like body and head shapes, each member group will have their own unique avatar pieces to choose from to give them their own unique look, suiting their particular user group.

i am planning on having the forums and site back up again by the end of january 2010, so soon electric retard will be going strong again with dedicated comic posting every day. i am able to do this now because i have found a way to afford hosting the site, but it might be tough for a while.
