James Greene, Jr., a freelance music writer from Brooklyn, New York, reports that legendary hard rock drummer Chuck Biscuits, whose lengthy résumé included stints in such flagship underground acts as BLACK FLAG and SOCIAL DISTORTION, died Saturday (October 24) after a prolonged battle with throat cancer. He was 44 years old.

Saw him perform with Social D in Montreal and he had "Bring me the Head of Evan Dando" on his bass drum
RIP dude...so young...I have a lot of memories from that show...that was the last show i went to before my dad passed away (also young) and i remember getting home from the show all psyched from meeting the band and how awesome they were...i even woke up my parents to tell them.

A bizarre – not to mention mean-spirited – internet hoax claimed he’d died of throat cancer yesterday, and yep, it suckered us in as well. The rumours spread down the series of tubes quickly after a tip-off from an ‘anonymous family member’. Rest assured he’s still bicuiting it up in Social Distortion. Up the Chuck!

I guess no one clicked the link at the top of the page cuz the story is about that -IT WAS A HOAX, so everyone relax. Chucky B. is fine. ....nah just kiddin, he's really dead (no he's not). .but seriously -he's dead.

Well you never can be too careful; inhaling all those Danzig fume over the years can't be good for you.

the original link up at the top was the story about him dying. they updated it to show that it was a hoax.

Hoaxes like this suck, but it's much better than him actually being dead.
