Oh there will be many trips to the Lowell Beerworks in between sets, although I certainly do not want to miss a single band. After party in Sheehy w00t.

Well Mike, we'll make sure its worth the while. If you guys are down, we'll likely be making the short trek from the venue to the Lowell bars after we're done ruining the lives of college students with loud noises.
Actually, surpisingly a bit more like Deadguy, which I know Kev and Pete would appreciate me saying. A bit slower at time, more thump, more about the riffs and the structure than about the impact of each part.
There's this one song they play a lot live that I believe Pete does the riff for. It is mostly clean (obviously something I wouldn't expect on the last two records) and it kind of chugs along on that riff by itself for a bit.
Old Network was just about smashing everything in sight, while new T_N seems to be about a whole new thing. I am only on 3x with the record (been busy as hell) but I don't think you would recognize the band. Tim's drumming seems different, too.

I completely agree. The new CD is some next level stuff for them. I love old network, but new stuff is just as good.
I suppose I'll be gay and go to a show like this and bitch because of how expensive it is. I haven't seen Pathogenic yet so I'm looking forward to it, The_Network is always a good time live (did that small weekend tour they did with Architect, Fit for an Autopsy, and Dismantle the Cyborg a few months back), and Hivesmasher is always awesome.
get there early for Pathogenic and Biclops. They both slay.

aaron better not make any terrorist jokes about anyone.
break down or not.
please remember to promote the food in the back of the room.
but also remember that bands do not get free food. unless they have umasslowell rowdy riverhawk points.
i've said it before and i'll say it again, hivesmasher has one of the best stage presence of any of the bands to come out of the area in a long time. All dudes of average of probably about my height or a little taller, yet still manage to completely tower over and seem like fucking monsters on stage.
I'll hit up the bars with you guys soon! (just gotta get that whole liscence thing fixed on account of LAWS)

Oh by the way, did anyone end up taking any pictures at this show?
having ben out of umass lowell for nearly a year, i can safely say that i miss nothing about the school.
maybe if they actually had some reasonable prices on food people would have bought their shitty food too... there had to be over 100 people there in and out over the night. if i have to choose between going to the beer works and spending 10 bucks on a beer and some fried pickles (bomb) or spending 10 bucks on shitty reheated chicken fingers and a flat pepsi, i'm probably going to take off too.
did anyone else get acosted by the angry old man rentacop?
