Black Pyramid played in Worcester last night, at this place called Gilrein's. Didn't know much about it, except that they generally did blues shows, the promoter who booked us said they were trying to expand their audience/repertoire.

They should just stick to blues shows imo. We made it through a song and a half before they shut us down, the owner grabbed the mic from me, and started yelling about how we were knocking bottles off of the bar. Sure enough, we look over and the bartender is there with a broom and mop cleaning up broken booze bottles. So we packed up and went home, as we were already at the lowest volume we can conceivably play at. Lame, but it's not the first time we've been shut down. At least earlier in the night we got to watch this chick beat the piss out of some guy out on the street.

This isn't the first time we've broken things either, broke a window in a club in Northampton through the power of the low end.

It was on Main St past the Paladium and all that. 802 Main I think was the address.

It was a weird place, all upscale, with tons of tables and seating which isn't really cool for heavier shows, and the drinks were fucking expensive, I think they charged me $4.25 for a fucking Narraganset? The staff and owner were nice enough until shit started breaking, but just not a good place for heavier bands at all.
