Well kind of. If you have internet access you can do your job anywhere. If I had permission I could work from my nerd cave but I don't.

this is more like "you aren't getting paid so don't work" sort of thing.

yeah we just had 2 months of 4 day (32 hr) work weeks. finally back to 5 days plus ot. thanks to verizon for ordering so much shit.

I was afraid they were going to do that too. there was talk of 72hr work weeks. but the layoffs and this show fix us.

huh, I just got told that it would probably make more sense to do this the week of july. I might just do that.

it's furlough

i had a furlough last quarter and have to take another one this quarter. it sucks to lose a week's pay, but at least it's better than getting laid off.

i'm not going to complain about furloughs when i know so many people who are jobless now.

We had 2 weeks out in April companywide.

If you are out for a full pay period, you should be able to collect.

I'm only out for 4 days.
