I need something that isn't all fucking bells and whistles in terms of MP3s and VIDEO and stupid shut, but rather is actually a very savvy, useful phone that is a utility...GPS, solid web browser, versatile OS. I wanted the Palm Pre but I guess it won't be out in time for Sunday which is when I need to switch plans. Any recommendations? Caveats?

the samsung rant isnt a bad phone, its got great gps nav, u can get email, and it slides open to a qwerty keyboard, however, the internet browser kinda sucks so thats the main downside, go check it out, its no palm pre tho for sure

I have the sprint mogul and it would be an awesome phone if they doubled the ram. thankfully with the newest version, they upped ram and rom x2 plus I think the processor is over 400mhz (+100mhz).
