my friend who showed me this thread bought a rapidshare account exclusively to dl these movies. We figure that compared to paying $14 a ticket for a shitty, shitty big budget mainstream movie at the theater, $10 for a rpidshare account to be able to view some movies with some actualy substance is a pretty good deal.
bennyhillifier Whats better then naked tits getting raped to death by a giant mutant maggot/slug thing, a pre-Freddy Kruger Robert Englund, Sid Haig getting killed by his own arm, Jonnie from Happy Days blowing up and Mr. Hand just wandering around being a weirdo.
inseminoid is decent but if you accidentally watch the goreless american version its pretty useless.
check out zhong gui and the killing of satan... ive been on a kick
Rad. Are the movies you have in .avi or divx format? I'm not sure how to convert movies down into smaller files, but for shit under a gig (I think), just go to megaupload.com and you can up it there. Takes a fuckin while to load em up, though (at least it did for me). What you got, meng?
I thought that was you, Ross. the VLC player should do the trick for you. It's free and plays every format imaginable.
What were some of you guys favorites from that thread? I thought Thriller and Fight For Your Life were especially "woah"
thanks ryan the vlc seems to work well.
thriller and fight for your life are good stuff, but theyre both available on dvd. i was more partial to the random sci-fi shit like 2019 and class of 1999.
i dont know how rare felidae is but i havnt been able to fin dit so thats my first dl.
also for fans of complete garbage cinema, i saw slime city up there. and grotesque is decent, albeit a little restrained for an 80s exploitation flick.

also if not only for it being the best movie title ever (fuck attack of the killer tomatoes) "death bed: the bed that eats"
Playstation 3 sucks for running computer files, you have to recode the mkv's, Most of the HD files I have don't run on it. i guess there is a way of hacking the ps3 and installing vlc player directly using the console. Any help on this Rev?

I haven't really dug through the list too much but from what I've seen so far I've got most of these flicks. Good stuff. There definitely needs to be a SOLID consistent B-Movie appreciation/recommendation thread- so I'm going to start going through my library and doing just that.
I downloaded all of them except the one that was over 1gb. Hence all the movie watching threads I make. There was one Friday the thirteen rip off that I didn't understand

Thank you for digging this back up, fuck the shit yeah. This is the answer to winter in new hampshire for me, watching bizarre movies and getting fucked out of your skull.

It uses UPnP:// protocol to feed video, audio, and pics to your PS3. It transcodes almost any file format to something readable on a PS3 and it does a hell of a job. It's not hard to setup but make sure you read up on it first, and it performs better if you do it over a wired connection.

And cult movie guys, this is a long shot, but I was in the Worcester Dive Bar a while back, and they had this "cult movie collection", one of those cheap dvd box sets that has about 30 films on it. It had a couple Christopher Lee films and a bunch of other ones. The bartender, a certain Mr. Scully, put on some film that started out with some nobility (a Count, Countess, maybe an Earl, I dunno, maybe one of them had a mask to cover a wound, I forget) taking an ominous ride in a horse drawn carriage down a wooded path, and ended up at some steampunkish castle ruin with gears and machines and whatnot. It was in color and no subtitles so it was probably in English, but there was no audio so I'm not sure. Definitely late 70's - early 80's. It may have been Italian. Random, yes, but what is this friggin' film called??

yeah, the only thing that the PS3 doesn't play are mkv's. I love the PS3 and spent all day yesterday watching doctor who on it.

With the PS3 media server it DOES play .MKV (the PS3 media server 'service' transcodes to MPEG and shoots it over the UPnP port to your PS3).

are you caught up yet? 4/5ths of Boarcorpse are all obsessed with it. The new season is unbelievable. I can't wait for the next episode. Which doctor do you like the most? I personally think the new one is the best i've seen.
And yeah, the PS3 fucking rules.. i can even play the video files directly from MSDs camcorder.. video files that most computers need to convert before playing.

I just read the Wikipedia on Death Bed: the Bed that Eats and it looks amazing! I have to see this.
I'm sorry jimbo that you are obsessed with faggot false doctors. I have 26 seasons and a couple movies to get through before I'm a faggot false dr lover. That's 32 seasons before I'm with you.

it's taken me about 4 years to get through 3 series (21 seasons) of star trek. that's...way too much doctorwho.

ahh, but you eventually WILL love the same doctor that i love. I guarantee it.
my bff Narky has seen what all of the doctors looked like, and the new one is his fav too.. but that definitely doesn't mean that they're not faggot doctors.
