I can't stand how people act like they've never seen snow before...oh my god, its gonna snow holy shit stop everything your doing and go buy gallons of water and batteries. Ok, so I have lived in MA for 26 years and every year WE GET SNOW!!! stop being a bunch of pussy's and get drunk, enjoy the shit out of it and stop bitching! right? BTW since when does my job description involve the words "lame ass person who shovels snow?" fuck work. |
word
My mom is one of those people....lol |
You need to stock up on bread and milk so you can have bread and milk sandwiches. |
I'd love to get drunk and enjoy the snow... but I'm at work all day watching other people do it. |
you're right, in the 27 years i've been alive i've never once had an incident where i had no food or water and was legitimately scared for my life. i have a 30 rack, a box of Golden Grahams, and Steven Seagal movies. i can weather the storm. |
and to make it worse now, I have no contacts and my dumb bitch ho russian optometrists decided not to come in at all because of this bullshit, so now i'm blind until like jan 5 i REALLY need to punch a co-worker in tha face right now |
I never have a problem dealing with snow. I have a problem dealing with people that don't know how to deal with the snow. I've gotten into 3 very minor car accidents due to idiots not knowing how to drive in the snow...slamming on the gas, slamming on breaks, not knowing how to move correctly when they hit skids. You'd think that after living in New England for so long, most of these dipshits would figure out how to fucking deal with snow. |

and to what of your ability to deal with them?
Are you talking skids? If so, I try to avoid them at all costs by not driving like a douchebag...but if I do hit them, I do some tapping of the pedals if necessary to ease in and out of it. Going slow in the first place is the key to making sure the skid isn't that bad in the first place. I see people slamming on the gas or breaks when they hit skids and it obviously makes it worse. Of course, sometimes it's nearly impossible to avoid some of them. You win some, you lose some. |
so ya, as the inches grow my hatred for people in it, are also growing... |
I get out of working today, was supposed to work the tail end of someone else's 12-9 shift...she was going to see GWAR and Toxic Holocaust in Providence, but she's not going now, obviously. |
