(spelling errors and all)

http://www.capecodtoday.com/blogs/index.ph...raises-fees-for-non-cust-1?blog=158

"Bank of America must be in tough shape. After September 15 anyone who wants to cash a check drawn on Bank of America at a bank of America branch will have to pay a fee of $6.00 or open an account with Bank of America. Of course, last year the CEO of the bank suffered an 11% cut in total compensation from his 2006 pay. He made only 20.4 million dollars in 2007."

Anyone else cash their paychecks at BoA? Looks like I'll open an account somewhere (ANYWHERE) else and just deposit them. I call BULLSHIT.

originally it was Baybank, now it's been bought out like 5 million times

they're ALWAYS fucking up my account, but I figure all banks are the same crap now

all banks are based on the jewish system of interest on loaned money anyways.

There was a time in history where charging interest was a crime in europe.

I wish the muslims would open banks in the U.S. it's illegal in their religion to charge interest on loaned money

i remember one time they tried to charge me for a roll of quarters, and at the time i had an account there. fuck bank of america.

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Aug 21,2008 10:35am
fuck Bank of America. by far the worst account i've ever had. i have one through Webster Five and i have 0 issues.

toggletoggle post by largefreakatzero at Aug 21,2008 10:38am
Definitely stay with the smaller banks and credit unions. BoA is huge and they are aiming for corporate accounts or private accounts for very, very rich people.

I don't understand how everyone but me has problems with Bank Of America. I've been with them for about 3 years and have never had one problem. They've even refunded overdraft fees that were clearly my fault, haha. And it was more that just one of the freebies they give you.

Citizens and Sovereign are a different story though. They can lick my balls. Thoroughly.

Much of it depends on the discretion of the person in charge of your local bank. Find a good bank director/policy setter, and whammo, you might have a great experience for life with them.

I've had radically different experiences at different branches of the same bank. One BOFA used Macs... horrible. I went to another and they were all using Windows, and my transaction happened smoothly and no emosexuals attempted to touch my manparts.

GRAVESIDESERVICE is endorsed by Pawtucket Credit Union, yeah, Thats where we store our money bombs and gold...

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 21,2008 11:02am
um... Citizens bank is the best bank, but you have to keep atleast $6K at all times. Since I don't have family that I could fall back on, one thing I did was make sure I saved up enough of an emergency fund so that I don't have to worry about dropping below the citizensbank limits.

I'm dumb whats the difference between a bank and a credit union?

the reason i pulled out of shitizens bank ??? ... well just one of is about 6 years ago on christmas eve i deposited my paycheck first thing in the morning ... i proceded to do my annual last minute christmas shopping spree ... a few days later i received a bill for overdraft FEES of $333. ... i called the bank on it and they said their policy is that they count the transactions before the deposits ... so even though i deposited my money before i made purchases i get whack on tons of overdraft fees ... they agreed to take $33. off of the charges ( yay ) ... so i paid it and closed my account and told them to eat my hairy , pimply , shitty ass and took my money across the street to BOA opened anew account and have had no problems since ... but hey life is always throwing curve balls atchya and banks are right there to tack on fee for ya !!

i had a BOA account, and BOA purchased a company i owed money to. They just froze my account and took it without even letting me know. Rent check bounced and everything.

Backed 100%
i have my motorcycle loan through DCU. I will never get a loan for anything ever again, through any other company, other than DCU. The most accomodating loan company I have ever dealt with.
