Player ones low punch button doesn't work. Anyone here ever fix an old stand up video game before? I am sure I got the skills for it but would like a heads up from anyone that has ever been in one of these. Once I fix that I am going to throw in a nicer and bigger flat screen. The original screens on these are terrible.

arcadecontrols.com just buy a new button, they are only like 3 bucks... it will look like balls on a flatscreen and its more work than it would ever be worth anyway. whats wrong with the screen? there are adjustable pots on the back of the tube if you havent tried messing with those yet...

check out and see if the connection is good. fixing the buttons on an arcade machine is cake, i did it for a living before. 99.99999% of the time, the connection is loose or just not there. joystick problems are a little more complicated, but any arcade accessory retailer will have a million different replacements to choose from.

Dude you are the man for getting this. How much was it, may I ask? I think my life would be complete if I had an MKII or III arcade unit.

Some random guy was walking around the local arcade asking people if they wanted it for a 100 bucks. I figured the deal was too good to be true. I went there and sure enough it was legit. One low punch button away from being perfect. It is missing the key, but it is set to free play anyways. I can now make it to Shang Tsung on one credit, and beat him in like 2. I guess I still have SOME of my skills. I used to be able to beat the game like 3 times on a quarter.


This has me so motivated I want to start looking for MKIII or a trilogy machine. If we ever get this MK tournament going I might be able to bring the stand up haha.

why? tekken 4 is the most garbage tekken there is. Tekken 5 and on, man.
