wow... it's chilly up here. wished i brought a hoodie. and the people here have wicked retarded accents. |
sanctioned for a riot: they were pretty cool. Young kids. I back the song about the bike riding and the song about moshing against intelligent design. They messed up a few times but they played it off like pros. definitely a whole practice session type vibe. they played very short grindish songs. like when that whole enclitic style bands scene. |
legion: they were pretty good. Missing this band was the reason thhat i decided to come up to maine in the first place. Well, that reason and that i want to stroke my own ego as an over-the-hill rockstar without having to have my own reality show... Even with how much the reverend of love sounds like a kickass show. They got people from the audience to circle pit for them. There are too many people here, but it worked out well. |
die young: much better, longer, and more passionate speeches than the last show. Their set was the usually back and forth of people standing close and then being moshed back. They are on their way to getting fucked at the canadian border. |
backstabbers inc: too loud. kind of boring. |
thanks for telling me that you were playing portsmouth last night. I walked downtown and a WUNHer told me. I would have loved to have seen the guts too. I saw wimpy (queers) leaving the show at some point while I was standing outside with my puppy. |

not the last time I was at the Westbrook American Legion (last night), but the time before for Bane, there were a couple ladies in a car parked by the river. A few friends and I walked over and saw all the ducks and saw bread all over the place so we each picked up a piece of bread and walked towards the ducks. After a few seconds, the ladies started yelling saying that it was their bread and to get our own, we all dropped the bread and started to walk away and she told us "you might want to wash your hands, that bread had medicine on it for the ducks, we are scientists doing tests on the ducks". Some other things were said that showed how pissed off they were at us. It was fucked up. They were like these 2 overweight, middleaged women wearing fleece jackets in an SUV. so strange. but yeah, I like that venue in Westbrook. I've been there a handful of times for hardcore/punk shows. |
that sounds exactly like what I saw. |
