just plain opening a PDF? shit, the plain reader should be able to that, but if it's not reading ANY of the ones you throw at it, I dunno, here I am in Dilbert mode (or Alice rather)
--reinstall
--the docs need the .pdf filename suffix
--the pdfs were built w/Acrobat 5 and you have acrobat 4 (the latest reader should be free at least)

this is on multiple computers since pdf's started.
they have never realy worked and when they sort-of do,
they work shitty

i use it all the time..and i remember you saying you had issues last year..sucks

it can be a most unfair and disappointing experience

I've never had a problem with PDF files, they always work fine for me.
