Why don't you go eat some more Cheesburgers, Randy.
I fucking love that show. Easily the best show that America hasn't caught onto, and hope never will.

Ricky: Fuck off, that's who. |

as far as I'm aware the only station that it broadcasted on in the states was BBC America (yeah makes no sense to me either) and was heavily edited and censored. Pretty much after that the creator didn't really want any US stations to fuck it up again so it's been pretty much Canada only. |

HAHAHA how true.
The manager of the cumby's down the street from said it will 4$ before the end of april and that they (cumby's) are predicting 5$ before labor day. I think I need to find a hybrid truck powerfull enough to cart all my tools and the trailer. |

fuck hybrids, get an old diesel truck, you get much better gas mileage. hybrids are just the government's way to keep people on gas. you get the same gas mileage with old civic hatchback as you would with a prius. probably more. besides, diesel = torque up the fucking ass. while it may have less HP than a newer truck, it has way more torque, at a lower RPM, with a fatter torqueband, so towing shit is simple. granted diesel right now is more expensive, you will fill up less, and when the gas gets up the same price, it wont even matter. then comes the "bio-diesel" stuff... and you can imagine how much better it would be to have a diesel if you care about lugging shit... |

torque from an electric engine at take off > diesel
want me to do the math for you spaldino?
torque from an electric engine is constant. |

yeah i know that, but hybrids are just garbage overall. thats also a tesla roadster motor. hybrid electric motors arent as powerful as that. not to mention they put it up against a 4 banger. if that were a diesel, the torque would be way higher at about 1k rpm. |

still, gas can't match the torque from 0-40-ish for an electric motor.
anyhow

Also, an electric motor putting out 200 volts to the wheels is equal to a gas motor putting 268 hp to the wheels. |

"(CBS) Pete Blackshaw was so excited about owning a hybrid car that he made a movie of his trip to the Honda dealer in Cincinnati.
He filmed the dealer sticker for his new Civic hybrid, advertising 47 miles per gallon, and put a special plate on his new car that read "Mo Miles."
But, as CBS News Correspondent Anthony Mason reports, instead of "Mo Miles" he got lower miles: about 32 miles per gallon.
"When I realized the car wasn't getting the full mileage, I really felt let down," says Blackshaw.
Those official mileage estimates come from the Environmental Protection Agency.
"The EPA numbers can be very misleading," says David Champion, chief of testing for Consumer Reports.
Champion says most cars fall short of their EPA mileage estimates, but on its test track, Consumer Reports found, "the discrepancy for the hybrid vehicles was much, much bigger," particularly in city driving.
While the EPA rated the Honda Civic hybrid at 47 miles per gallon in the city, consumer reports got just 26 miles per gallon. The EPA rated the Toyota Prius at 60 miles per gallon in the city.
"We actually got 35, so it's a big difference," says Champion.
Why the difference?
The EPA tests cars on a machine that measures the exhaust. At Consumer Reports, they actually splice a fuel meter into the fuel line. "
I'll take my 300 dollar car that gets an average of 33mpg over these hyped up over priced junkers, and spend all the cash I save on a retardedly high car payment on something useful and be happy! |

Rolling on the floor laughing.... just like her. OMG LOL |

I get around 43-44 in my car now that there is ethanol. if you are getting 32 in your hybrid you are a shitty driver |
