yea i would have to say i agree with you on most of that stuff, but if mike d. books the show things are done right, he promotes like crazy, gets people in the door, and always pays his bands well. im pretty sure weve never recieved less than 100 bucks, and thats as an opener. even one time we opened up a show for him on superbowl sunday so the draw sucked so instead of paying us, which he couldnt he had already lost money, he hooked us up with the biggest drawing "metal" show he had coming up. hes a good dude. but the living room is definitely my least favorite place to see a show unless its tuff guy hardcore, cus the sound kinda always sucks.

but yea we definitely look forward to playing the jeep shop more often, that place is SOOO MUCH FUN!!

yea they also banned chris for a fight that happened at a since the flood show a long time ago too i believe. banning promoters because of stuff that happens between kids at the show isnt fair, its the clubs responsibility to make sure that people behave at their club not the promoter.

i thought that was fucked up ...anyway he apologized .....he is our main competition though . jack backs mike d so he don't loose his money he looses jacks . when i loose its my hard earned money so i will promote a little better i think . if i misspelled anything i just don't care .

pete, we (dour cursiva) would love to work with you personally on a show in the near future, as long as you dont mind that we also book with mike from time to time when nationals come through town. we really dont like to pick sides with anything like this but we definitely want to play both venues somewhat regularly and we want to build a relationship with you the way we have with mike over the years....as long as people treat us fair we are fair with them. plus were the kind of band that will play pretty much any show as long as its worth our while. but yea man, when we play the jeep shop again id rather book through you than through a band, thats for sure. you seem like you really promote your shit and work hard to bring people in. we should talk more about that april date when you get a chance.

I think The Living Room and Lupo's are both bad.

Lupo's doesn't support the scene in any way and never even puts local bands on the bill. $$$$$$$

Which show was this? Are you refering to the Deceased show in chinese moustache 's post? I not defending the Living Room at all, but if it is the Deceased show that had Goreality on the bill (the night before the Middle East show) I do recall it being pretty much empty when Deceased came on.
