CANNOT FUCKING WAIT FOR THIS. I may be more excited to go see this trailer in the theatre than I am for the Batman movie - and I'm like, piss-your-pants excited for that.
Why do they have to do this to me 8 months in advance? Fuckers.
anyone else think Maggie Gyenhall or however you spell her name looked hideous in this movie? i generally think she's attractive in most her roles too.
Saw this yesterday. Holy fuck was it good! I do agree that Batman's voice was a little silly, and nasally at some parts, but I don't care. It definitely flew by faster than 2.5 hours. I definitely need to see this again, at an Imax.
Heath Ledger needs to be resurrected to play the Joker again. Jack Nicholson can eat a dick after seeing how well Heath Ledger played the Joker. Two best parts: the pencil trick and the Joker dressed as a nurse.

SOOOO GLAD that I'm not the only one that thought Batman's voice was fucking annoying. I didn't feel that way during Batman Begins...wtf?

LOL
Fucking seriously. I found myself laughing out loud at seriously inappropriate volumes every time the Joker killed somebody. I guess we have a similar sense of humor. Which is probably a good sign.
And Nicholson was a shitty Joker. He's awesome, and he did a good job with what they gave him, but a) he wasn't right for the character, and b) the character of the Joker just plain wasn't in that script.
This time around, they fucking nailed it, though. Taking The Long Halloween and The Killing Joke as inspiration for the character was the right way to go.
saw this a second time in the "Digital Theater". HOLY FUCK. storyline made alot more sense since i wasnt drunk as hell this time. man do i love this movie even more now.
ohhhh...i wanted to add there were a few parts that SCARED me...especially once where i let out a little scream...because i wasn't expecting anything to jump out at me...lol
wow. so says everyone... and for once its true. Movie is awesome. Saw it on about 6 grams of dried mushrooms. It got much more evil for me than the sober movie goer i think, although i am sure i would've loved it anyways.... (Although i will honestly say that hallucinogens can make even an ok movie great. IE: the first Matrix movie, not a great movie, but on LSD it topped my top 5 of all time in the theatres. Although the Star wars remakes 4, 5, 6 and the newer ones 1, 2, 3 were all good on AND off psychedelics.)
and yeah... me and my buddy were giddy bouncing in our chairs when we realized we were seeing the trailer for the Watchmen. Gonna be friekin sick. although i didnt like getting so excited while smashing pumpkins was playing, it felt kinda gay.
and the pencil trick was my loudest laugh of the whole movie too. Fucking ill.

saw it last night, easily in my top 10. awesome acting/directing. also LOVED how most of the movie was during night time.
T4 looks sick too.

also, i'm trying to think of who the next villain will be. they could do the Penquin, but Danny Devito butchered that role in the last one.
they could also do the Riddler and bring back Jim Carrey. NO MR. FREEZE
Ive been waiting to read this thread until after I saw the movie
AMAZING MOVIE
batbike=gay
seriously depressed after I saw it that ledger cant be in the sequel, I always liked ledger's movies for the most part, at least the ones that I had seen, and he definitely embarrassed anyone else who has ever or will ever try to play that role (if they ever do try it, I can only really see mark wahlburg trying to pull it off, but thats just me)
maggie gylenhall is not only ugly as sin, shes like 18 feet tall, which in itself is terrifying, her acting is WAY better than that other chick though
the batvoice was SUPER annoying in the first movie, I didnt think it was as bad this time, although he did slur his speech alot, totally right about assy mcgee
Penguin, Riddler, Clayface, Scarface and Ventriloquist, Mad Hatter, and Solomon Grundy would be good bets. hopefully not mr freeze. also, since there'll obviously be no more Ledger/Joker, think they'd throw in a Harley Quinn?
actually, in my last post, a lot of those wouldn't really fit Nolan's version of batman. i'd like to see Depp as the Riddler.

actually, I had just read that they initially stated that if a 3rd is to happen (whcih it will), they don't want to have a character that's already been portrayed on screen.
how GREAT would it be if Daniel Day Lewis played one of the enemies
You'd need between 3 and 4 Daniel Day Lewis's to play Bane. LOL
Bane actually would be a good choice if they actually wrote him with his character (i.e., a supercompetent criminal mastermind) instead of a big screaming retard like in the other crap movie.
Clayface would be cool, but they seem to be shying away from superpowers so far. Same with Killer Croc (although he's a little more mundane than Clayface).
Ra's al Ghul should definitely make a comeback (that's kind of what he does) but maybe not for a few movies.
Shame they appeared to kill off Two-Face - he could support his own movie and would fit in with the no superpowers thing.
Catwoman is pretty central in the Year One time period (when they seem to be setting this) - she'd probably be the best fit. Nolan would do it justice, I think.
I know there are others who are with me as far as pure entertainment goes, they just hate to say it and I understand...but Ironman was way more entertaining than Dark Knight.
shit, I forgot about iron man... I need to see that
You must! I saw it knowing zilch about Ironman and it was awesome.
Iron Man did the story really well all they changed was Vietnam to Afghanistan but other then that, thats how it went down in the comics for him becoming Iron Man
