Hey, I guess we're confirmed for this! Good thing I can do it, but somebody's been jumping the gun again <scowling at Jeremy and Mallika>. Fucking singers and/or guitarists!
I will put a 5th band on this, & it will be dysentery. for sure!
fixed.
gimmi a call bitch!

FISH = one of the last few people who actually cares about the cultivation and preservation of 'true brutality,' around here. Cant wait to see what Alex from AP comes up with for the flier--Dwyer should post a pic of the shoes he is bartering for it...haha
Maybe i will come up with the Mortal boys if i can. This show is pretty killer! Pretty funny to read that Mortal is someones influence, since we are their influence (among others in sure...) and now i feel real fuckin old.

MORTAL DECAY played Newport, RI in Feb 1994 at a fest that I booked, I know they did a show in CT (with EVILUTION) in like 1998, I can't remember them ever playing in MA!
And i am not sure what "old like me?" is, so i will refrain, but when people are influenced by bands that were influenced by us, time is not on my side.
on a side note: dysentery is hitting the studio this weekend to rip off 2 or 3 songs of the new shit. i was told there were gonna be some 'guest' vocal contributions alongside will.
The Mortal boys are super psyched for this show, they are going to do a ton of great stuff. Make sure you guys pack this place for them!!! Not sure if i can get out of work now or not to head up.
Ha, thats an awesome shirt. I just watched a John Holmes documentary; guy was fucked up. Total fucking pathological liar and drug addict. He smoked crack every 15 mins.
Seriously though Josh, great shirt. Could you trade for an Embryonic Cryptopathia shirt by any chance? I still have a few left. I really want a shirt with John Holmes on it!

Those shirts are hot. Jay, can I ride wit' yo ass there on Sat?
Hahahaha, that shirt is fucking awesome. I think I like the back the best. This will be the first time in the history of Mark Richards that I buy a white t-shirt that is not an undershirt.
Watch the Wadd documentary that comes with Wonderland. Can't guarantee any trades. Limited number of shirts being printed and I definately want to make some money back, maybe at the end of the night something can be worked out, no promises though. Those are going for $15 a piece.
Any grind/fastcore stuff you can trade would be good.

If ANYONE has ANY extra large (or 2XL) shirts they wanna sell, i basically have unlimted cash to buy. I'd prefer black metal bands, but death metal and grindcore will do just the same. I'm sick of wearing plain shirts........
and yes, i mean at this show. Mortal Decay better have some fucking XL's for sale...
Dysentery: once the sound guy got the vocals right, it sounded really good. Before that, the vocals kept disappearing. It was really weird seeing blue in this band. His bass was too loud out of the sounded cab. From that side of the stage, it was all him "boinging". When I went back to the other side of the stage, it sounded great. For the last couple songs the bass might have even been too low. Will seemed disappointed that no one was dancing for them. This isn't a VFW hall so kids aren't so crazy like that (unless sexcrement is on that is). For their last song, some people moved, including timmy "larry, daryl, and daryl" (or I that douchebag skier?) who did a country bumkin version of a cartwheel.
Abnormality: besides not being able to hear the bass at all, the guitars were non-existant at the stage. It sounded almost like they were DI's the guitars. The problem with this room is that things can sound amazing at the back of the room cause of the PA, but straight from the stage it didn't sound good until jay complained a bunch. Then thy were finally turned up loud enough. I was wrong about the crowd not riping it up. they got down for abnormality.
I also hate TV cause every time I looked at jay's sleeve, all I could think was "roger, you tiger now"
This crowd is weird. It's like if all the ralphs an old obriens crowd got together. Back when is seemed like you could smoke whatever in the back alley. I keep waiting for mark kevorkian to show up.
Sexcrement: craziness as usual. Not all the fanatories were here so it wasn't dangerous on the floor until their last song. The encore. They got one or two buckets of beer for their set. Looked like they were done the beer before even starting. One thing that corralled the craziness was the stage. It's pretty high and adam stayed on it almost the entire time. even though they weren't headlining, they still did an encore.
such an awesome. so glad I went. best turn out there since they stopped doing wednesdays prince pasta and piano night. some how I smell like naragansett
Good show. Sexrement was tight. Goreality was extra tight. Mortal Decay ruled. A guy in a Pantera shirt was punching himself. Pathos light show. Metal sluts everywhere. Shady New Bedford moolies. Saturday night's alright.
goreality: this is my first time catching them with mike on the mic. With his little bro-fro, I almost didn't recognize him. His vocals were missing the seasoned heft in the low end that dan (ex-goREALITY/anoxia), but he's the best fit they could hope for. He was able to inhale the entire set. I was waiting for him to exhale. When I saw fish in the parking lot, I didn't recognize him either. He shaved off his beard in a freak accident and all I could think was "who is this little corpsegrinder?" the floor was dangerous for their entire set. Dangerous and constant "oooooh" from the crowd as one of the moshers would hit the ground hard. They send out their last song to me, against the crusade (a song I've play the past 2 weeks on my show). After that they were convinced to do an encore song. These guys need to hire richdecay to do mouth guitar for them.
mortal decay: these guys were so much better than I thought they would be. For whatever reason, I always confuse them with decrypt when people talk about them. Thankfully, they gave me CDs for my radio show so I can play them this week. They were missing their bassist. This made for some hilarious points where they played around the bass exclusive parts. They are probably even better. I will have to let you know.
This show ruled so much. So many people there. Awesome atmosphere and attitudes. Also, I got to see jayrapper briefly for the first time in years. On top of all that, I got releases by dysentery, sexcrement, and mdk. rich kept calling me a faggot and then try to finger my butt.
Not sure if you saw the rest of the pics, xmikex, but:
This show was fucking awesome, although missing Dysentery fucking sucked. I should have looked at the flyer itself instead of what it said on the events page so I would have gotten there earlier. Oh, and Rich Horror trying to rape me for the millionth time isn't something to look forward to. TAKE A SHOWER YOU HIPPIE! You smell like a dumpster.
Great show. Every band fuckin ripped!! Everyone was cool & it was an all around good time! Thanks to Fish, all the bands, Rev & everyone who came out for a kick ass show!!! I don't think it was cold enough though.
YouTube is acting gay. So vids on the way, some time today.
