Mike- in the other thread you mentioned that you had shows available on Nov 2nd and Nov 30th. thats why i asked if we could be on one of those but was not aware that it would be instead of the 20th. all kinds of poor communication going on. up to this point i thought we were on both.
Define national act..... Because if you are going by signed bands, Goreality,LAZ and Deconformity are all signed and could be considered national acts.

hmm...
Signed acts, would also include dysentery, sexcrement, goreality and mortal decay- all on the bill at new wave for 8 bucks--so obviously i am not referring to who has a label or not.
Im just curious about the logistics of price and it's also worth mentioning that i'm in no way intending to slander any of the bands on this show..the show will be sick and if i can attend i will.
Im just saying there exists an irony in the prices relative to the number of bands playing and by the stature of the headlining band..maybe this exists in my stupid, stoned out head, but whatever.
what i am saying is that MDK (unique leader) has been doing their thing, arguably at the forefront of brutal metal, since the early 90's. With three killer full lengths and a few old school demos, they just stand apart from the pack.

better yet...why is this 10 bucks but the MDK show is 8?
Because bands have to travel, Cars need gas, gas cost money.

Dude than go post on their thread, and go to that show, stop bitching on ours.

The next show's I will make cheaper, but considering most of the bands on this bill have to travel, I was trying to make it worth their while to come up and play. Most people with a job can afford ten dllars to go support a band they like. You pay the same at the brickhouse in dover. and I've paid more in other places for 3 bands. I don't see 5 bands for 10 dollars as a rip-off. If more people voice a problem with the price I will change it for the next date. Personally I would pay 20 to support my friends. Besides, the beer is cheaper than a bill in mass, so it works itself out in the end.

Technically we could be considered international act considering we are distroed in europe, That includes all three bands.
holy crap what did I walk into, well now that the money bickering is over Iam just really excited to get to play with all these great bands if we make a buck or two great if not this will STILL be a wicked pissah show, so GOOOOOOO!

sorry to get heads 'riled up'--that wasn't my aim.

this will be a killer show: goreality is never a letdown, seen deconformity a few times as well-very sick shit, and i have yet to see LAZ live, but i must say, i do like the brutality they have on myspace.

I thought we played with Dysentery years ago, but I could be wrong.
even if you did play with dysentery back then, i wasn't in the band at that point.

and hopefully when we play together in the future, dysentery will make more of a 'memorable impression' with you. if we dont..i at least owe you a beer.

Goldstein's Book: Pretty different, Not bad at all though. I would like to thank the guitarist for unclogging the toilet in the men's room.
Mortis Deveia: I need to see them a few more times with the new singer I guess, That was weird. He knew the tunes though, That was cool.
Deconformity: Wow I don't remember them being that sick. They were awesome. I will have to pick up the CD soon.
Goreality: Holy shit! Those mp3's I have don't do them justice at all. And Mike fits in well as vocalist. They sounded awesome and heavy as fuck. Thanks to Fishcakes for the CD!.
Life at Zero: Ok first off your new logo is gay. Anyways, They as always fucking kill!! All the new songs are awesome . Too bad every time you guys write new tunes, you forget the old ones!!. You probably have 2-3 albums worth of material .
Over all a killer night and as mentioned a few times, The beer was awesome, I wish I hadn't forgot my Growler at home, I'd be drinking a pumkin ale right about now. And a huge thanks to dwyer for hooking me up! I have been looking for those Whore and Fornicator CD's for a long time. Much appreciated.
