IRC isn't even remotely hard to figure out, all you do is download the applet, type in /server irc.freenode.net, then type in /join #rttp, pick a name(using /nick) and you're set. Seriously easy program to use.

klined? Try again. They usually lift that shit after a while. Or change your IP.

I used to always get banned from EFnet. They don't have it hardcoded so that you cannot change your name to nickserv or chanserv. They just have some bot always hold the nick. But if there's a netsplit, you can grab it and then watch as the nick passwords roll in from random idiots who have their scripts set to automatically /msg nickserv password blahblah

I think now though, the norm is to do /nickserv instead of actually messaging nickserv. Those were the days, though.
