hopefully this is as good of a time as the last time i went to the_networks show. |
The last time I went to see the_Network, the guitarist jumped on me and proceeded to scream in my face. It was a good time. |
when I was at the CD release, I got that same treatment. pete screamed "A PERFECT WOOOORLD!" in my face. good times. |

No, he wasn't just in my face, he literally jumped on my body from the stage and I held him while he screamed at me. |
heading off to this in like a couple hours. |
bed of arms is setting up now. kings just finished. |
kings: I ran in for the last song or two from them. Basically it was for roots and then another song. Funny seeing them up on a stage like that. But it's great seeing them through the kick ass sound system that the upstairs here has. The con is that there wasn't any moshing that I saw. Why can't there be a happy medium?
bed of arms: they got another dude to sing for them. That was quick. I only noticed him messing up once. The set wasn't as crazy as it was the first time I saw them. Did they learn the leason not to jump off the stage from the first show? The new singer was in the face of the crowd the whole set, running into the horse-shoe of people that was in front of them. the other singer (played by ralph machio) was behind him most of the time, but also on the floow.Their music is pretty good and if they are on CD like they are live, I'm sure they will be on a label soon enough. They could definitly be on of those bands that ferret or abicus sucks up and everyone's like "who?" |
below the rise: fresh off their mark's show place ending set, they were ready to kick ass here. A lot of the people in the crowd were here to see them. This was evident by the number of people singing along during one of their songs. When they finished their last song, the ligts came on, but people chanted until they played another song. They vocals get better/stronger each time I see them. The singer put in a few bree-bree-ish sounding parts, but it wasn't cheesey at all. The last song was an ultra new one that they were played for us for the first time. The new bassist didn't know the song so he got out into the audience. |

network, the: this is the 14th or 15th time I've seen them in the past month. I'm just that lucky I guess. Yes, I know you want to be me. The crowd sort of thinned out by the end of BTR, but I'm guessing a lot of the_network fans are downstairs. When the network started, I took a look around and there were TONs of people. plenty of people to lend a voice to things. after the museum show (which seemed to have frustrated members of the band), they looked like they were trying to make up for it. Putting 111% into their performance. Pete was all over the place as usual and screaming into everything, including all the cups of water that took a look at their short life and decided to jump off the side of the stage and on to my camera bag. Thank you to aaron michael for moving my bag. Aaron Michael's stick up for each other. Word life. No frontin'. They actually were able to play a new song after they played their "last" song. If I had any complaints it's that I wasn't able to head around behind the drummer to snap pcs. All the bar stools/tables were pilled up there. Lame.
CTB bought the network CD and a zipup hoodie. I don't have the cash on me now, but to all the_networkers who read this, I wouldlike to buy a large one of your hoodies. Unless I bought one on the way out. |
