Just checked out Finntroll for the first time, I am not sure what to think, Way to happy happy music, at least the song I heard, It was from the newest CD. Don't think I could stand much more than 20 minutes or so of them. Though I have not seen The Accursed for a wicked long time(since Chantilly's in Manchvegas). I may just go to check them out

You really need to listen to a whole CD to "get" it. It is sorta happy, but it's also sorta evil and trollish - you don't get the whole picture with just one song. Also, it helps to have a tankard to swing.

Finntroll is going to rule. they created one of the best "something" metal hybrids, the whole polka/folk thing called humpaa. i can't get enough of Nattfodd, i try to start drinking nights with that album. the new one isn't so jumpy, but its much darker. the only album i thought that was weaker than the others was Jaktens Tid. all of the others rule.
