I am taking digital photography/editing and I need a new camera, the one I have has very few manual options, does anyone know of a good digital camera to use that you can manually adjust yourself, shutterspeed, iso, aperture, ect.

I'm only seeing the nikon sd40 slr and that is aboot 600 pesos

I was going to suggest the nikon SD40, but it's around $600 dollars.. not pesos. 600 pesos is like $50. you can get a canon rebel for around the same price. I'm bias and like nikon better.

the d50 is down to like $550 with a lens included, I actually think that's a better camera than the d40 anyway.

the d40 is the replacement for the d50. they are basically the same camera. I would have to look up on dp for the differences. I gather that the d50 is a stripped down d70 like the d40 is a stripped down d80, but I mostly use a d2x so what would I know.

yeah I meant dollars, just being a mehican. I like Nikon better too, better lens I think. there is only one good place in nashua to get cameras, camera land, and they have the sd40 for 599.99, the guy was cool and gave me some brouchure that had all the info on it as well as another one with comparative features for all the models. I am just looking for the cheapest digital with good manual settings, I need to be able to adjust aperture, focus, iso... all that good shniz
