I was going to pick this up the other day. i will pick it up soon. i remember seeing Amon Amarth for the first time and thought they were great. they played with NILE / VADER / KREATOR / GOATWHORE
that was such a good tour.

funny, they are one of thoe bandsthat just plan rule live even though they don't move much. too bad I don't like watching video.

its an awesome dvd..... so many songs on there. and it's nice to see the same songs performed at different shows.

yea they dont do anything on stage but they just have that energy

they should pillage, loot, and rape the audience.

this thread is stupid. european metal makes my dick go limp for months at a time.

Amon Amarth doesn't need to move on stage to totally annihilate their audience.

Can you recommend me some other great band DVD's? I want to expand my collection.

if you like rush, get rush in rio. it's my favorite concert dvd. another dvd i love is neurosis - a sun that never sets. i've heard the evergrey dvd is great but i haven't seen it yet.

the latest motorhead dvd is excellent too

I like Evergrey. I didn't even know they had a DVD out. I will definitely check that out.

The new Iced Earth DVD "Alive In Athens" slays. I definately recommend that. Kreator's DVD is awesome as well. Nuclear Assault's "Harder, Louder, Faster" kicks ass

I just winished watching the 3rd DVD; kickass, but their Wacken set was better this year than the one on the disc ('04).

even if you already have Kreator's Enemy of God, get Enemy of God Revisited for the bonus DVD, it's pretty awesome. the Wacken set was better live, but hell, it always is.

Wacken is seriously my dream festival. It is without a doubt the Mecca of Heavy Metal festivals.

there will also be another 20-30 bands added before August. sure, you can see Vader, Immortal, Moonsorrow, etc elsewhere, but this is the only place in the world where you can see them in the company of 30-50,000 other metalheads.
