I am going to Boston via the T this weekend. I will be taking the red line into Harvard Square. What I need to know is this, when I come up the stairs and am in the square, what direction is Church Street?? Anyone?

cross the street to the harvard coop / bank of america.

walk right, pass CVS and the Body Shop.

Church Street is your first left, right after Body Shop. If you pass the church you went too fucking far.

if you are standing in the center of harvard square facing north, and look to your left, there is a bank of america and soviet bank across the street. if you walk across, turn right and continue past soviet bank, church st is on your first left.

thanks a bunch!!! I know exactly where you're talking about now.

The easiest way is to just leave the T station not from the main entrance but from the Church St. exit, which is accessible from the train platform you will arrive on.

When you get past the turnstiles you can go up 2 different staircases: 'Harvard Yard' on your right and 'Church St.' on your left.

I know the CVS that litacore is talking about and |an, them making that reference made it easy to figure. But I will look for that stairs/signage, thanks Anthony!

No problem dude. I commute through Harvard Sq. everyday so I know that ugly T station better than I'd like to.
