Forum.RttP{Palladium, Sat. Feb 4.}

1st things first:
F*** the Palladium for not notifying people (at the door) that they would be watching the show in the (UNHEATED) shithole ice box. Let alone being too cheap/stupid to fix the heating system, admitting people in t-shirts without putting a sign up, "Hey, our shitty system is broken. Go back and get your jacket before you come in." For the record, I had a hoodie on. I pity watching (unnecessary) cold m-f'ers who could have been informed... you SUCK Palladium!!

Bands:
1) Biggest Surprise - With Passion (1st Band) - they frigging SHREDDED; here's a band who can f'ing play complex metal, but has a face punching fury to them. check this sh*t out.
2) Decapitated - In a genre that has been (in many ways) played out, these dudes approach Death from a total commitment to the art. A band that shows integrity, kicks Polish Death Metal ass, and loves to play. Why the hell they only got 25 minutes is ridiculous... Deserve to headline a show... not getting their due as 2nd of 5 bands
3) STUPID BILLING of the NIGHT - Raging Speedhorn - Whoever put this 'band' on the bill should be beaten. Think 'House of Pain' meets 'As I Lay Dying'; and these tools weren't even hip-hop... 2 (stupid) vocalists who sucked at their jobs, a drummer who wishes he played in Dokken (he sucked and had these stupid glam drummer moves..), and the guitarists from.. Atreyu or some sh*t with their wanker 'look'. WOW, maybe it was me (or the booing crowd) but why some bands subject themselves to such mediocrity (??) is beyond me.
4) Soilent Green - Here is a band who really won me over....take is easy everyone, i didn't know their deal before... They just got stronger and stronger as their set went on. MAJOR PROPS to a band who means it. Great vocalist.
5) HYPOCRISY - 2 things....(1) Hypocrisy played for 20 F*CKING MINUTES!!! yes, somebody ran up to Peter from side stage and whispered something; he says into the mike, "Well everyone, it looks like we got F*CKED. We are done for the night." BOO's everywhere. Great job Palladium: Ragind SH*THorn gets 45 minutes (of torture), and Hypocrisy (2nd Bill) gets 5 songs. You (Palladium) guys were right on top of your game...
(2) Having seen (the great) Hypocrisy before, ..were they a bit too 'Gothenburg-y' with their song selection? Seemed a bit watered down, but could have been that they were not planning on letting it all out on just 5 tunes..
6) NILE is a massive band. Here is a band that is just as brutal as a band can get, and plays with eye-watering complexity; all of that adds up to a landscape vaporizing musical experience. like watching the creation of an Egyptian God via the hands of the Big Bang explosion..... awesome and powerful, yet a dynamic machine all at once..
