Bands like Exodus,Judas Priest,Cannibal Corpse,Kreator,Sodom,Napalm Death and Morbid Angel arnt getting any younger.Im dreading the day that old school metal is dead and these and other old school bands break up.That will be the time for me to find a new hobby :( |

The 80s old school bands and Judas Priest can never be replaced.Once their gone their originality and sounds are gone.Fuck the new bands.There are only a few ones that sound like old school. |

WRONG!!! Numetal has taken over.Just look at the scene around here.The majority of the bands sound like Unearth,Slipnot and generic death metal

The 'majority' means nothing unless you are a poser.
Unearth is a metalcore band.
Nu-metal is all but dead.
Generic death metal is as it always has been. Keep in mind, death metal is also an old school style now, it has been around since the 80s. |

Caught a sweet buzz in the parking lot (no drinkin the place/all ages), awesome building but management/sound sucked. we got cut off early and ben slammed his guitar down seemingly pulling a half assed axl rose on the mic stand (we all got yelled at for damaging the wind screen). I thought it was the perfect ending to a waste of a good set. Come to the New Year's Eve show! |
