haha, that was cool! that was actually a deleted scene from the movie. apparently jim carrey really likes cannibal corpse and is a fan of the band, which i think is kinda funny

In School of Rock you can clearly see a CANNIBAL CORPSE sticker in Dewey's (Jack Black's character) window.

so fucking awesome. that should never have been cut from the original. i love that clip.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 23,2005 2:38am

Makes me hard, every time.

toggletoggle post by darkenedsoul   at Nov 23,2005 4:46pm
Actually I believe it was in the version I saw on the tube awhile ago as I clearly remember that and started headbanging! A riot!

toggletoggle post by Dankill at Nov 23,2005 5:02pm
Seeing that in the theater was my first brush with death metal and it changed my life.
Chris Barnes still sucks next to Corpsegrinder though.

yes, that scene was shown on the TV version of the movie.
my brother used to be obsessed with jim carrey movies, especially ace ventura, and he bought the soundtrack to the movie. i used to always steal it and bang my head to "hammer smashed face" over and over .....i asked my mom if she could buy me a cannibal corpse CD and she immediately said NO
a couple of years later i bought one for myself and my brain has never been quite the same since

toggletoggle post by soloman   at Nov 23,2005 10:13pm
heh heh someone needs to recreate that scene at a show. Dress up like ace and start back hopping on stage. that'd be great.

toggletoggle post by rigor penis at Nov 24,2005 1:05am
I heard he wrote the song 'striped raped and strangled' after his divorce to loren holly

toggletoggle post by retzam at Nov 24,2005 2:15pm
Hahaha, yeah I remember always loving that background scene (the one that actually made it into the movie) even before I got into death metal. I thought it was so cool that a death metal band made it into such a hit movie. I still don't like CC though (although that fucking riff in Hammer Smashed Face kicks ass, you know the one).

I love the part when Carrey starts singing in growls, HAHA!!! I remember that flick. I almost pissed myself laughing.

Staring Through the Eyes of the Dead (video)

I haven't seen this for a long minute. I'm not sure I've even ever seen the non-Beavis & Butthead version.
