New site? Maybe some day.

What are your opinions on the 80s Sabbath stuff? I like the stuff with Dio,Ian Gillian and Tony Martin. But the Seventh Star album with Glen Hughes on vocals in the worst Sabbath album in my opinion.Sounds to much like Deep Purple to me |
You telling me that no one on this board likes the 80s Sabbath stuf?? What the fuck?? |
mob rules, heaven and hell and born again are all excellent in my opinion. I also love deep purple. |
Ian Gillian 1983 born again best sabbath ever
Best Sabbath 80s in my opinion is Heaven and Hell |
Keep in mind that I have a Dio ring tone on my cell. 'Nuff said. |
I have to say, I dug out Dehumanizer from '92 the other day...Dio on vocals, Vinny Appice (son of Carmine) on drums. I wasn't hating it too much. Yeah, I know 1992 isn't 1980's, but after Ozzy it all blends together. |
and speaking of Gillian and Dio, Rainbow was a great band as well. |
Heaven and Hell was the only sabbath album I ever liked. In fact, I HATE sabbath, but Heaven and Hell was just awesome. |

"I Hate Sabbath"....HoW? |
I don't hate old sabbath, but Heaven and Hell was a sweet album. |
Vinnie is Carmine's son? I thought they were brothers, for some reason.
In any case, I fucking love 80's and 90's Sabbath. Admittedly haven't heard Seventh Star yet, but the rest is killer. |

You hate metal if you don‘t like 70‘s sabbath said

I hate blues based shit. Never really liked sabbath, old priest, most zeppelin, hendrix, etc...

80's Sabbath was the best Sabbath
Tony Martin Sabbath - great music, some silly lyrics...probably my
favorite Sabbath era - Headless Cross and Eternal Idol might be the best Sabbath albums
Dio Sabbath - probably the best Sabbath era...great music and lyrics, but Dehumanizer was better than the 80's material
Gillan Sabbath - one awesome album - what a voice "Disturbing the Priest" and "Keep It Warm" are two of my favorite Sabbath songs - this album has some of the heaviest riffs eva |

I got to see Blue Oyster Cult with Vinny Appice on drums and the bass player from Rainbow. Good times, they were all wicked nice guys, too.
