check out a band called: GOBLIN - they are basicly goblin worship...but way synthier i guess. they're fucking awesome.

goblin is who did the orginal dawn of the dead soundtrack...well most of it

yeah, they also did a ton of argento movies and italian exploitation gangster movies and then theres tons of regular albums that are really progressive and weird and then claudio simonetti has tons of solo stuff

If you like music to any of Argento's and Fulci's movies you'll like these guys. It's not metal it's a horror soundtrack. Yes they got their name from a Fulci movie.

And Goblin did the sound track to the Italian release of Dawn of the Dead. I don't think their music was in the English one.
