Last night I went to a listening/release party for the band stellastarr*
James Iha, from the Smashing Pumpkins was Dj-ing. He played those three artists, in order, Backstreet Boys-Slayer-R. Kelly.

I was in shock/horror/amazement all at the same time.

that's because he's got diverse musical tastes man. i mean, it's cool to do that...right?

Yes, that is the most diverse taste in music I have ever witnessed. I talked to him about it afterwards. I told him that I had never heard anything like that before and it blew my mind, and he said "yeah, that's my style." haha.

Oh and Carina- I couldn't believe how many people knew stellastarr* in Boston. The show was more than sold out and people were singing along and dancing like crazy!

it's not even a g...it's moved up a fret and he'snot even fingering it properly...the G i know involves the ring and pinkie finger to be playing the 3rd frets on the b and e strings

i doubt he really knows how to play so to argue about if its a g or not is kinda usless

or you could look at his strumming hand, and realize he mighta just played the g chord, and is now muting it. You always keep your hand in position between chords?
