Okay...got home at 4ish, let the dog in gave him a walk and fed the dude. Around 5 he starts barking uncontrollable which is very odd cause even though he's jack russell, he's usually very quite, not to mention he's in my parents room. Regardless he keeps barking even when I'm asking him to calm down (you'd be amazed at how well i talk to him, he is my best friend after all). Soo, my sister comes home round 8:30 with the boyfriend. I'm sitting here on the comp when they start to hear something jumping in my parents room (they're listening from the first floor). My sister gets so fucking scared, she grabs a knife and barges into the my folks room expecting to find someone but NOTHING. So she comes back down and STARTS HEARING THE SHIT AGAIN. So by this time she's in the corner starting to cry, naturally I'm wondering what this could possibily be about. I joking go, "it's just a ghost", then my sister starts telling me to stop saying that shit. Turns out after 17 years of living with this girl, she tells me 1,000 and 1 ghost stories about shit happening to her in her room which is right next door to me. Shit like being shoved while in bed and turning around to a floor filled with mice. Mysteriously hearing a Kings of Coinveince cd playin in my room when it was in the car the whole time. Scratching all on the walls, door handles jiggling constantly. I'm quite shocked at all this shit cause it explains sorta why my sister is crazy like a fox. Anyways, she had a closet door replace a few years ago which had scratches from the top to bottom from the inside.
The best part of it all is that when I was 15 working as a janitor with this local cronie, I'm telling where I live and shit, "oh you live at the old Getcel house..." It's sorta like in office space, you know with that whole "i think my girlfriend is cheating on me" "yeah i know what you mean" shit, cause fuck no one ever tells me anything about my house, all I know is that it was abandoned for 3 years when my parents bought it in 77. So the janitor tells me this story about a retard living in the house, who always go to the front door and with a jerking off motion with his hands would ask any pedestrine "want it? want it?" I thought he was just fucking with me but it turns out my parents said that there was a retard that lived in the house...in my sisters room. Wooooooooo, kinda freaky shit. For years I've been awakend in the middle of the night constantly between midnight and 3 by a woman screaming. When my parents were gone I heard several bangs comming from their room but have always thought they were mice. I just looked at 35 pages of orbs, vortexs, and various other objects in pictures from some shadowlands site I found on a old thread on here, fucked up shit!!! I might have to start taking some pictures round here.

Come to my house. It was built in the 1700's and was a surgeon's office for most of its life. Historians estimate that hundreds of people died right where my dining room is, isnt that cool?

I get a kick out of it, you can hear doors open and close when your alone. The basement sometimes smells like cigar smoke, and the only person that ever smoked cigars was the original owner who died here. When people are here and i walk up the stairs at night, the swear 9 out of 10 times the see a person plain as day walking behinmd me up the stairs... i love that shit!!

You got nothing on my haunted house and my grandparents' haunted house next door. I'm in Charlestown only about 200 yards from where the redoubt was on top of Breeds Hill during the Battle of Bunker Hill. My grandparent's basement is really creepy, though I'm the only member of my family to ever have a room down there and the only one who hasn't seen the ghosts who are supposedly a bunch of English soldiers. A few years ago one of my neighbors was doing some construction in their back yard and dug up a colonial soldier from NH who had been hastily buried with his diary following the battle.

The house I just moved out of was built in 1830. Supposedly there was a break in a long time ago and the woman was killed in the house. She was part of the Crowell family which is enormous here on the Cape. Anyway, she haunted the place for years until my wife's family bought it. She continued for a little while when they were living there but they started to do renovations and removed an old safe. It was locked and could not be pried open in any way. So they just threw the thing out. As soon as it was out of the house the woman seemed to leave. I lived in the house for over a year and only had one encounter, not really an encounter but... My son was sleeping in the upstairs at the time and was only a few months old, so obviously we had a monitor so we could hear him. Both me and my wife heard a woman speaking through the monitor. We couldn't make out what exactly she was saying but she was babbling on and on and then stopped suddenly with nothing more from then out. I'd sometimes get that weird tingly feeling and thought she might have been in the house but she didn't speak or make herself known the rest of the time I lived there.

also, i went into my basement for EC practice, and my entire drumset had been moved about 3 feet forward, and there was a guitar cable sliced perfectly in half.

and, me and my bro got back from abhorred practice, and my dad thought we had come home and walked past his room about an hour earlier. he said he thought he heard us talking and everything. and he has been woken up by his bed shaking.

my mom's boyfriend's house is extremely old, built in the 1800s. Anyways, there is a "cold spot" in the yard that several people (without prior knowledge) have reported walking through, on hot days. Its right near this circular formation of rocks where a barn used to be. Also, they've seen pictures fly across rooms and objects move without being touched by people. Weird.

I love haunted house stuff, I'm still planning on doing a documentary about the haunted places in and around Massachuesetts. This shit just gets me all excited, I think that it's so cool when people talk about ghost stories. My guitarist is so scared by this shit, it's reall funny.

My grandfather was an MP in WWII. He died around the time I was born in 1976. He had all this ham radio and cb and morse code shit from the war in the basement where after the war he made an office. He would sit down there for hours my mom and, grandmother would tell me and talk to people all over the world on it. When he died my uncle took it all. But in the empty room down in the basement..all I could hear when I stayed over was all the static and, radio singnals, and morse code beeps and, shit. I would ask my grandmother what it was...and she would say" Oh thats just grampa on his CB honey" But the guy was dead...I always caught her talking to him all around the house like he was still there. She always said she could see him. At around 5 o'clock most evenings you would hear the coat hangers in the closet moving and banging...but when you opened it they would be still...my grandmother would say" he is just putting his coat away from a hard days work" When we moved her to a nursing home all kinds of shit was happening that day...it took me and my family many years at a dinner table to finally tell the stories of what we all saw that day when we moved her....it was freaky..my grandmother is gone now to but she said grampa followed her there as well...I belive in this shit very much and, have witnessed it myself.

I just moved into my uncle's house a few months ago and i know something is going on in this house. My aunt's parents both died recently and they lived acrossed the street, and since then i've been noticing alot of strange things, my door will swing open and shut at night, i feel and see things around me and at the corner of my eye, and the dogs will start whining. It doesn't bother me because they are/were good people. but i do get those shivers once in a while and what up all of a sudden alot.
