she's been playing around a year now. she's sorta learning backwards and can play lead/single note stuff. I've been trying to teach her rhythm stuff and she's really having a hard time with it and it makes her angry that she can't pick it up as quickly as lead work (scales, arpeggios, ect).

that was me remembering the movie 'Sandlot'.
