New site? Maybe some day.

Fitzys in Woonsocket (i believe) we had a badass show there.
i like the vibe and sound of Jarrods even though Jarrod is a douchebag
Club Octane is pretty cool. the sound wasnt bad and its personal due to the fact that you play on the floor
club 305 is ok despite the horrible turnout
i like the stage of the Living Room but thats about it |
I love playing O'Briens... it's kind ok dive like but it's fun as hell... regardless of sound too Dee Dee's is cool.. |
we've never played O'Briens before, i've heard alot about it but have yet to check it out. hopefully soon. |
I really like the palladium downstairs cause of the barricade...
the hippodrone was pretty cool
o'briens is really nice.
I miss the chopping block.
the met cafe ruled big time.
eh... wtf am I talking about... IT'S THE KAVE. handsdown. |
the kave gives the band a place to sleep, pizza, and um.. brownies... |
the kave - awesome atmosphere, great hospitality, good sound on/off stage. plenty of room. no alchohol, all fucking ages..thumbs up. the only negative thing about this place is that it's like 6 hours north of boston which is just too fucking far for anyone down here.
goodtimes - has potential to be pretty rad, the lighting/screens were sweet and it never got pitch black. sound onstage was great and the soundguy knew what he was doing.
toads place - litterally had a fence blocking off the drinking section, awesome so the shows could be all ages. had tv's all over showing video of whichever band was on stage.
the met cafe: was pretty awesome to see shows at.
palladium (upstairs) - seen many good bands up there, the sound is usually way better than what you get downstairs. finally played onstage and the sound up there was pretty decent.
I enjoy playing all D.I.Y. shows too @ legions/lions ect., a lot of times those types of shows are even more enjoyable than any club show. plus I don't really like playing on a 'stage'. |

if you dislike the chopping block, you'd probably dislike o'briens ALMOST as much. |
Shroud just hooked us up with a show a couple of weeks ago at KCs Tap in Pawtucket. Bad turnout but the place itself was cool. Half of it was like a redneck bar, and then the other half had a nice stage and great PA. |
Ten's, Matthews...
oh, you mean rock clubs... depends on if I'm playing or going to watch
I love playing KC's Tap, and the Skybar, as long as I can hear myself and the rest of the band.
As far as going to shows, I like the upstairs at the palladium, and the downstairs has really good sound if you're anywhere near the soundboard (I was sitting right behind it during the rhapsody/manowar show, and it sounded awsome that night)...
I dunno, I don't get out much anymore |
KC's Tap has so much potential.
o'briens
goodtimes
kc's tap
chopping block
dee dee's lounge

Pearl Street was my favorite club for a while, I used to drive over 2 hours each way to go there all the time.
SAFARI LOUNGE... hands down! |
yeah if you like playing for free. |
you dont even get gas money there |

remmeber who your talking too now.
someone whos band never gets paid anyway |
O'Brien's is the only place that's still around that I actually like playing at. All other existing clubs that I've played at are shitholes and I hope they burn to the ground. |
Keith likes crappy things.
ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO BOOK METAL SHOWS KC'S TAP IS WHERE IS AT good place but 21 and over sucks |

I love that the Safari has been doing shows for about a decade and they still don't know how to turn a fucking microphone on. Yay heroin. |

THE QE fucking 2 (RIP) |
Yeah, funny, I sold the HAEMORRHAGE / IMPALED split CD that you rave about.
I went to the QE2 a few times.
I saw MY DYING BRIDE and BROKEN HOPE there, 2 different shows. |
Bill's Bar used to be awesome to play, i miss it so. |
THe Compound has really good sound and a cool vibe, but the area fucking sucks.
Bill's used to be pretty good. Great sound, ok room.
Mid east downstairs is cool. I love the back room. Just having a place to keep my shit and tune and warm up away from everyone is nice.
obriens is always a fun time. it's like fight club in there or something.
vfw's can be cool, but only when it's fucking packed. there is nothing more depressing than playing for 15 people in a room the size of a basketball court |
SuperFly said: yeah if you like playing for free. |
you mean we're supposed to be getting paid when we play, now you tell me. |
