New site? Maybe some day.

Epiphone/Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty Custom. I have never been so happy. |
0/32 has anyone play one? |
I played the gibson in a guitar center.
Definately not something I'd buy. It's not a bad guitar or anything, and it was constructed well, but the shape, weight, and tone I dislike. also, the balance point for the straps was terrible. |
should have just saved the money and sprung for a gibby. |
where in philly did u buy it? |

I know a "true" gibson les paul but I cant afford a 3 grand + guitar. This is close enought for me its a gibson/epiphone. I liked this guitar becasue of all the ones i have been checking out I found this one to be the most versitile for my budget. I like the tone being that I would primairly be using it for writing indi/noise core it works great. Yet with a flick of a switch and a twist of some knobs (how are those for technical terms) work great for metal. |

Old Gibsons rule. I have '69 SG. Red like Tony/Angus. It was mint when I got it. Beaten to shit now, but still plays awesome.
i got a 1979 les paul custom for under a grand. you just gotta look. |
and where did you get a 69 sg?
I have a 1983 gibson flying-v, got it for $250. |
Nice.
I have an 83 explorer. |
I also have an explorer custom shop, not sure what year. mid 80's I think. |

Some vintage shop in the middle of nowhere Ohio.
I brought 2 guitars on tour. At the first show I got too drunk and Pete Townsended my Explorer. At the 2nd show I got too drunk and Pete Townsended my black SG. I bought the red SG on the way to the 3rd show and decided to drink slightly less. I got it for $1,200 (I had credit back then) The guy had a '66 too but it was too much.
I heard most of my old black SG is hanging on some kid's mantel with my blood all over it.
Actually I have another SG, an '83 I think, that's in pieces (Neurosis/EyeHateGod/AC show at the Middle East 8 years ago). Anyone good at putting smashed guitars back together? I was able to grab all the pieces to that one before the kids got to it.

Black and white? That's what mine was. Like Hetfield circa Puppets. '83 too.
