New site? Maybe some day.
|
i have no clue what these people would get in return, but who would do a street team? you make a collective flyer (meaning include all the shows for that month/week) and pass them out at shows local to you, no matter where you live.
you also include on the flyer like "listen to RttP mondays blah blah time to blah blah time 91.3FM NH or on the web at blah blah anywhere in the world"
maybe? or something similar? so that way Aaron gets mad hits and we all get a little more PR for our shows.
maybe if you do this like 100 times or something you get a free RttP hoodie and like concert tix? I dunnow it's a fractured idea but it seems like it could heal well. |

im in the slipnot street team. ill help 4 shizzle!! if i can see them play here. |
|
sorry nick,

I would rather you guys go out and flyer for your own shows.
the only idea that I had was if you are going to make flyers and you know that I'm going to be there, why not put a "see you picture on returntothepit.com after the show"
one thing I want to do is hand out more stickers. |
|
and joe does that (the see pics on rttp thingy..) |
|
hahaha Carina got your email, it's all good.
I just figure what's good for this site is good for every single band that has photos on it, you know?
I think adding "see you on RttP" thing is a good idea too.
plus the more people that listen to Aaron's show, the more people that hear all the bands he plays on it. the more people that make an investment of time or money or heart into the things we do, the more everyone wins.
we could do a DefyUnlearn street team ;) |
|
the only thing that would bother me about a street team is people like that slipknot kid posting here... |
|
hahahah really? dude he's hilarious!!! hahahahah
the way I see it, I used to think RAoV wasn't going to be good, I dunnow why, probably cause no one ever recommended them to me and they always seem to play bar shows which I had had nothing but boring experiences with. HOWEVER, I went and saw them and was blown away -- they are a really talented band with good music that is very heavy indeed.
that said, maybe having slipknot-ers on here could either A) introduce me to some new music I'd never heard but end up liking or B) they will hear stuff like this and get turned onto stuff that is more "true" metal.
agreed? |
|
street team members annoy the piss out of me.
bad idea |
|
well i don't really think it's necessary..but like aaron said..if you know he's going to be at a show....then post the info on the flyer |
|
he takes pride in the fact that he does the site by himself
(although I am an awesome rttp cheerleader)
unlike me..where i have writers and such |
