Arg! avast ye land lovers.. er.. I mean

thanks to chris for the show. and thanks to xmikex and chad, always on the look out for me snapping photos.

death before dishonor: straight up good hardcore. they were basically the reason I convinced myself to go. I walked in on their set and got to listen to 3 songs.

closer than kin: they sort of didn't fit on this bill, but it's always good to see them. They played at least one track off the ep, but they played some things off machines of breathing, but I haven't listened to that yet so I didn't know any of those tracks.

ringworm: I had no idea what to expect from these guys, but they were really good. they were an odd mix of rock, metal, and old school hardcore. I guess they had a release on victory and are re-issuing it on deathwish

Unearth: for all the shit that people give them for being too metal, too hardcore, too generic, too copied-by-even-other-band, their shows area always high engery and fun (dumb faces included). They played a ton of tracks that even I could sing along to.

All out war: ok, for those of you that thought I was SXE cause I never drink at shows and you were shocked to see me drinking a beer, I have one rule; I never drink at shows, unless a band gives me a drink. I think it's rude to turn down when a band offers it to you. Anyhow, all out war was soo much better this time. After being MIA (for 2-3 years?), they run around, sang a bunch of oldies, at least one "metal" new one and thanked everyone in the audience for our race single handedly destroying the planet. Any one who missed this set, they said they would be back, but you still missed it.
