PIG DESTROYER's critically acclaimed fifth album Book Burner sold over 4400 copies in its first week of release. This accolade saw the band coming in at #102 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, #2 on the Heatseekers Chart, #11 on the Hard Music Chart, and #20 on The Independent Chart.

Absolute Punk is hosting an exclusive stream of the entire bonus disc from the deluxe edition of Book Burner. The disc contains PIG DESTROYER's take on seven punk tracks including songs from: Black Flag, Misfits, Angry Samoans, Negative Approach, Circle Jerks, Minor Threat and Void. Book Burner features 19 tracks with a return to the band's raw, misanthropic sound. Book Burner will be available on multiple formats including CD, Deluxe 2xCD, LP, Deluxe 2xLP, Cassette and Digital. All of the editions are available for order via Relapse Records here and iTunes here.

The deluxe editions each contain a bonus disc of punk covers and a short story, titled The Atheist, penned by frontman JR Hayes. The Atheist is a post-apocalyptic tale about a decaying world taken over by the violence of religion that showcases the renowned lyricists' unsurpassed style for the first time as prose. The deluxe 2xLP also contains an etched b-side featuring artwork by Wormrot frontman Arif Rot.

In support of Book Burner, PIG DESTROYER will be making special appearances at various festivals including Decibel Magazine's 100th Issue Anniversary Show and Maryland Deathfest 2013.

The band performed in Brooklyn, NY as part of the CMJ Music Marathon as part of the Metal Injection/Metal Sucks Showcase. The entire performance can be viewed HERE.
