There was an airshow in Quonset 2 weeks ago. First one I've been to in over a decade. Aside from being able to see/hear them from my house my father insisted we went every year. Standing on hot pavement, with no shade, staring up into the sun is unforgiving to someone with my pigment. However, I walked over to check it out and although I have no nifty pictures I was impressed. Plus they've really added to the theme park aspect. Granted there were no roller coasters there was plenty to do. The super trampoline, rock wall climbing, a couple water rides, 3d rides, basically a carnival at an airshow. And the people watching was unmatching. In the same instant you saw an overweight/but malnourished dude with open sores with not a care in the world about the mustard stains on his old school Simpsons shirt, you'd see the hottest girl in the fucking world.
I still will never understand how somebody got a C-130 off the ground. I have a vague idea of how that works but for as loud and heavy it is it is well controlled.
Thats my contribution to the airshow discussion.

I was noticing the same thing about the people at the Portsmouth show. Beer guts and America hats and then 11 year old prostitots walking around. A fine mix of American culture.

I was tempted to go to the Rhode Island show. I passed it up in favor of the other 3 air shows in New England that had yet to happen yet this season
