Shows in New York actually start on time. The show was advertised as starting around 8 and it started right then. Pizza Hi Five broke a string during the first song and ended up using Ocultist's bass for the rest of the short set. A little odd, certainly could have seen them play longer but they were tight. Occultist was pretty fucking solid, I kept trying to take pictures of the singer but she was moving around so much and my phone camera has so much lag time. Nashgul were very crushing but unfortunately they didn't have their merch with them! Ghoul turned into GWAR lately I guess, lots of blood spray. But they played a good selection of songs from the two newest ones and they played Numbskull and indeed kicked ass! Apparently St. Vitus is open until 4am on a weekday! Fuck off New England liquor laws. I bought a case of Yuengling too. About to start the drive home.
