One or two smacks gets the message across. Not excessive beating or slapping in the face. I really don't think this video is even that bad. Kids get beat waaaaaaaaay worse than this. Kids are abused on a daily basis; the fact that people are even debating that this was warranted or not just shows how watered down this video is compared to kids violently getting smashed in the face every day, or raped in the ass by their own father.
It's funny how rttp people laugh at everything and then when something like this is posted you're all touchy feely. I just find it funny that it seems most of you won't have kids or are incapable of having kids because right now, it's hard to sacrifice your personal lives because of partying too hard. It is good to see people stick up for the kid, though. Long story short, kids get beat way worse than this. I never was, and I can never dream about treating my son like this, but damn. This video ain't that bad in terms of child abuse. It's just video taped and now you're all ruffling each others' feathers.
I'm not justifying what the guy did because it was awful but come on. A bunch of rttpers arguing about how to treat children = LOL given the shit posted on this site.
